Chronicle: Urovekkende funn

Thomas Bøhn and Terje Traavik has published a new chronicle in Genialt.

Last year, a study found that rats fed with genetically modified corn was more susceptible to cancer. The research had weaknesses, nevertheless there’s a cause for concern.

The results of research and Gilles-Eric Séralini at the University of Caen in France attracted attention, and since the publication has a heated discussion about their work ongoing in several European countries.

It is now important to evaluate the study’s scientific quality, and to compare with previous studies that have concluded that NK603 corn is safe.
